Repair of existing Fire Hose System

Background: Our client required a functional fire hose system intact.
The old existing underground fire hose water-pipe reticulation that was installed many years ago under the factory concrete floors deteriorated to such an extend that the water pipes burst, and needed to be replaced with a new water-pipe reticulation.

We were requested to provide a solution, and quoted accordingly, offering to install a new 25mm Galvanized water-pipe reticulation system on the walls at high level feeding each of the fire hose rolls.

It was important that the working pressure of the new planned fire-hose reticulation will be the same as that what it was during its design stage. To fullfill this requirement we could not tap off from the current 15mm exposed water pipe, but had to tap of from the current main 25mm plumbing supply system which had to be hunted for by breaking concrete out, and cut into it using a suitable valve as a starting point.
