A luxury bath tub’s water inlet/overflow unit broke off because the client used it as support to help lifting himself out of the bath.

No access were available to remove or fix the broken water inlet/overflow unit, and we were requested to solve the problem.

Because no access were available we had no other choice other than to lift the bath to gain access.
It was impossible to lift the bath without breaking some tiles, and taking off the sealant adhesive around the bath. This was done.

The tiles is now broken and the sealant adhesive is removed.
Thereafter we lifted the bath and replaced the water inlet/overflow unit. Now we needed to restore the aesthetic appearance.

To ensure decent aesthetic appearance, the choice were either to replace all the wall tiles, or to cover the portion where the tiles were broken with decorative tiles over the broken portion.

The clients choice was to cover it with fancy decorative tiles in accordance with our recommendation.
